A collaboration between saxophonist Ed Jones and Us3 producer Geoff Wilkinson, first commissioned by Serious Sampler, ed/ge is a genre spanning experience using a predominantly big band sound to explore the worlds of jazz, hip-hop, world music, drum & bass, broken beats and electronica. Their debut album "A View From The ed/ge" is out now on kwerk, and includes covers of the Gil Evans classic "Las Vegas Tango" and Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". In a live context, the band will consist of a 15-piece ensemble comprising some of London's most fiery horn players.
